By Edited Jul 22, 2016 0 1

Looking for a great spot to take your family for a fun filled vacation that isn’t going to break your budget? You really should consider Mexico, not just because it’s so close by, and not because it’s affordable, but for the enjoyment you can all have together. Your kids will be fascinated by the different things there are to do, and you can relax knowing that this is one vacation where there will be no tears of boredom. Mexico is so diverse it it’s history, culture, attractions and adventures that it would be hard not to have a great time, even if you have younger children.

The minute you arrive to your vacation in Mexico, your kids won’t be able to wait to get to the beach and frolic in the warm sand, dip their toes in the warm waters of the ocean or the Gulf, and play games under the brilliant blue skies. To them, this is truly paradise, and every kid’s dream. You and your spouse can relax in your beach chair and watch them have the time of their young lives. Of course, you won’t want to spend all your vacation time at the beach, although your children may have their own opinion about this. If you can pry them away, there are so many other things to see and do that they will soon become enamored with something else!

For a great time outdoors as well as a chance to see the countryside, take them on a burro ride and explore your surroundings with a  guided tour of the area. Believe it or not, there are so many things to see that even kids find an excursion like this interesting, and the idea of riding on a burro is equally fascinating. This is something they can brag about when they go home, knowing that there aren’t going to be too many of their friends who have done this. Not only a fun thing for the whole family, but exploring is a great way to sneak in a bit of education without the kids even knowing it! You may be surprised at what they learn and talk about later.

Cancun draws tourists by the thousands, and for good reason. It is a beautiful location, the weather is fantastic, the resorts are luxurious, and the fun is unlimited. There is plenty to do here, from water sports, exploring, and just a short hop to some of the most interesting flea markets you may ever visit. You will be amazed at the amount and quality of the merchandise being offered for sale at extremely reasonable prices. This doesn’t mean you have to pay that price, however. The Mexicans expect, and actually look forward to a bit of haggling over price, and they enjoy the camaraderie that develops. So bargain to your heart’s content!
