Why You Should Use Organic Cloth Diapers

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Disposable diapers can cost an arm and a leg and in this economic conscious time, we are all looking to save money. Cloth diapers cost less to use over a long period of time and are readily available. The organic cloth diaper not only costs less than disposables but is eco friendly and chemical free.

Choosing and organic cloth diaper over standard cloth should be done for many reasons. The organic process in which the material is grown and used for manufacturing these diapers means no chemicals, so less irritation to your baby's skin. This in and of itself is a big plus as it keeps you baby happy, thereby keeping you happy.

Taking care of these diapers is very simple. Machine washable and either machine dry or for that truly natural approach, hang them on a line outside. This gives them that fresh outdoor scent and lets the sunlight help naturally sterilize them too.

These diapers and matching covers will give you plenty of use if cared for properly. Line drying them will cut down on the fibers breaking down faster as the heat in a dry is much more intense than sunlight. This will extend their life even further giving you more uses.

Pretreating these will help them stay brighter and cleaner wash after wash. Using a natural stain remover such as vinegar or a citrus based cleaner will assist you in this and still continue along the vein of staying organic. Presoaking them before washing will greatly increase their appearance after the wash also.

Organic cloth diapers are the first line of defense when it comes to your baby's health. Their environment changes every day, but the one constant are that they will be wearing a diaper. Help keep them healthy and happy with using cloth diapers.
