Basic Windows Server 2008 Shortcut Keys

As with any product, and Microsoft products being no exception, has a set of shortcut that will allow and enable a user to perform their tasks with greater efficiency and be more productive in all that they do. Shortcut keys help to cut down on the amount of steps it takes to perform a specific task, and the Microsoft Server line of products has the bases covered that will help reduce these tasks.

Microsoft Server 2008 was released to the public in early 2008, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 was released in Fall 2009 with updates that will help it work with the new OS release from Microsoft, Windows 7, as well as other feature enhancements. Server 2008 builds upon the already dependable, reliable, and scalable Server products that Microsoft has released in the past with now even better security features.

Even though they are still based on the Windows NT family of platforms, 6.x being the current version in which Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft Windows Vista, and Microsoft Windows 7 are all a part of. Building upon the already successful line of the NT platform helps to create stability and most importantly, compatibility within its product line. But we will get into that at another time though, as we will focus purely on the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 shortcut keys here.

If you are looking at, or even working in Windows Server 2003, and need some shortcut keys, then you can go here for them.
