It is possible to start blogging part time and build it to a good income over time.

The key is that when you are deciding that you can only dedicate part time hours that you need to realize two things. The starting points of setting up your domain and getting a good deal on hosting are easy can be done in less then a night. The real work comes when you look into building your content and getting traffic. This is why it is so important to create a schedule for your part time work.

Sit down with a day planner or online calendar and figure out when you have free hours in your day that you can do this work. Giving up your reality TV shows and even an hour of sleep now, can mean the difference between earning cash in the coming months or having to wait longer to see your first earnings.

Once you have found time each day to work, you need to stick to this schedule. One of the top things that you need to do when you create a blog is to be consistent. The first place to do this with your schedule and when you work.

Tip Two

Write up and save multiple posts at a time when you are getting started. To be truthful, this is a good tip no matter where you are on the journey of making money blogging. You are going to have days when there is more pressing work to get done that does not including writing content. This is going to happen and can do so quite often. When you have batches of material saved, you can take a minute and get new content up on your site. This will help to keep your readers engaged and the search engines happy.

Tip Three

Spend half your time when you create a blog promoting your site and building traffic to it. You can spend the other half of the time writing your content. Both of these tasks are very important when it comes to making money online blogging. You can not have one without the other if you are hoping to earn from what you are doing.
