By Edited Jul 21, 2015 0 0

There are millions of cities around the world which are both famous and beautiful. Tourists will visit them because of the appeal they have with the architectural marvel they display. These are cities which are both vibrant and prosperous surrounded by architecture which puts them a step above the rest of the world with the spectacle of magnificence they show to us. These are the world best architecture cities.

Athens has made the list because of the architectural strength shown by the city. They are the basis for all modern civilization. Along with ancient buildings, the city has erected more modern structures bringing it into the 21st century. The skyline is full of both types of buildings which makes it truly unique.

Working around the clock, 24 hours each day and seven days a week, Dubai has one-fourth of every crane in the world as a permanent part of their landscape. With skyscrapers surrounding the horizon, they have also constructed two very unique hotels. These are hotels which cannot be found any other place in the world.

They have the only seven star hotel, the Burj Al Arab. Along with the seven star spectacular they have an underwater one, the Hydropolis. With the world’s tallest building along with a Disneyland style amusement park, Dubailand, this is beautifully built city. If you want to know what the future of architecture and engineering will be, see Dubai.

Brasília a Brazilian city designed in 1957 by urban designer Lucio Costa and architect Oscar Niemeyer. Visitors cannot agree on what it looks like. Some say it looks like a cross, airplane or butterfly. It seems as if no one can decide, but they all agree it is a modern marvel designed exquisitely.

Buildings of note are the president’s residence, the Cathedral Basilica and government work buildings aptly named Three Powers Square. It was classically designed based on ideas conceived by the French architect Le Corbusier. Everyone applauds this place because how fast it envisioned and constructed.

Since demolishing the wall  in Berlin more than 20 years ago this city has prospered. They have centered their attention on altering many of the constructions already found in their skyline. Although they have left many classic architecture buildings, like the Das Rotes Rathaus, as they were, they have made notable changes to famous others.

The Reichstag, formerly the Nazi parliament structure, was rebuilt to include a glass dome ceiling. After assessing the abandoned Potsdamer Platz district a vision to the future saw what could be done with it. They came up with an idea to redesign and revive it which has been successful. They added a number of newer buildings as well.  The Sony Center, an impressive structure, was an addition in the last five years. Overall they have revitalized their city by taking abandoned structures and reusing them as well as adding new ones to the city.

In conclusion

These are the world’s best architecture cities. All of these nominees were included because of the individual additions they make to the field of architecture  Whether they are a new city, Berlin, or an ancient one, Athens, all have something to give which sets them apart from the rest of the world.
