The world of freelance writing can be a difficult one to enter (at least successfully), and as such if you really expect to be successful, you are going to need all the help you can get.

Unfortunately, because most freelancers spend their time solo, with their eyes glued to a computer screen, support can be hard to come by. That is why having a comprehensive list of writers resources is often the best way to go. The fact of the matter is that these resources are generally available to everyone, however many require a bit of a concerted effort to find. If you are new to the world of freelancing (or aren't but need a hand) compiling a list of resources and keeping it handy is a great way to ensure success.
