Aside from being detoxified, proper breathing can also help decrease one’s pulse rate, lower blood pressure, and stabilize one’s nervous system. The usual body stretching and flexing help one’s body to be less prone to injuries especially if one is into sports activities. Aside from being flexible, the variety of yoga positions helps tone one’s muscles and eventually get stronger and steady on one’s feet.
