Staying at one of the Yosemite RV parks in the area surrounding this spectacular national park is an enjoyable alternative to hotels or cabins. Over 3.5 million visitors stay at Yosemite National Park each year to visit unique features such as the giant sequoia trees, stunning mountain peaks and the world's second-highest waterfall. If you're planning a visit to the park this year and are traveling by RV, there are a number of places to choose from, all offering convenient access to the park.

While you won't have access to hookups for your RV, there's no better way to immerse yourself in the beauty of the area than by staying in one of Yosemite National Park's ten campgrounds. Four of these campgrounds are open year-round to enjoy in the winter months. Park sites tend to fill up very quickly, so be sure to call ahead to make a reservation. Permitted length of stay varies with each site. Keep in mind that you can only store food in RVs with hard sides due to wildlife in the park.
