You Are What You Think

You Are What You Think, Period.

Remember when you were a kid and your teacher would go around the class room asking you and your classmates "so what do you want to be when you grow up?" Maybe you said you wanted to be a Firefighter, a Cop, a Doctor, a Veteranarian, a Teacher, etc. Did you do what you really wanted to do? Or did you kind of just let life figure it out for you?

Your brain is an organ, however you must treat it like a muscle. When you train your mind to think positive thoughts instead of negative, your life will be full of potential. Negative thoughts on the other hand will trigger bad things. You literally are what you think. When you think positive thoughts as you're working towards a life of wealth and happiness, you're more likely to become wealthy and happy. By coincidence? No, but by thinking of it 24/7.

You see you can make a choice, you do not have to at the effect and mercy of the world around you. Many people think that their situation in life just is, it's not. The power of making a choice is as easy as deciding. All you have to do is think about what you want to do, and just decide to be it. Just decide what you're going going to do, and how you're going to do it. From that point on the universe and the whole world will get out of your way. This all started because you thought of what you wanted to be. Your thoughts resulted in the actions you made.

You Are What You Think

A simple tip I've found help me out is writing down what I'm going to do the next day right before I go to sleep. This keeps me motivated to achieving my goals both short term and long term. For instance my long term goal for this year on info barrel is to write 365+ articles, while my short term goal is to write at least 1 or more articles per day. So before I go to bed I get on the computer, do a little google keyword research, find my topic, write it down so I don't forget and place that piece of paper next to my bed. This way right when I go to sleep I'm already thinking about what I have to do. This is sending positive energy and thoughts through my brain while I sleep, so when I wake up I'm extra motivated and already know what I have to get done. You can use this tip for literally anything you want to accomplish in your life.

Some other forms of getting positive thoughts is listening to your favorite music, surrounding yourself around upbeat fun people, listening to motivational tapes, watching youtube videos on the laws of attraction, and even just smiling more and saying hello to people! The bottom line is to get these thoughts in your mind in any which way that you can. You'll be happy that you did :)
