What's the Difference Between the NS-ZCC18 and NP-HBC18?

Features of the NS-ZCC18

The Zojirushi NS-ZCC18 is a MICOM Cooker and uses advanced fuzzy logic technology, which adjusts temperature and cooking time as detected by the computer chip inside. It can make white and mixed rice, porridge, sweet, semi-brown and brown rice. It also has a rinse free mode and can cook rice in 35-45 minutes if you use the quick cooking mode. The pan is spherical which distributes heat evenly and it has a removable inner lid making it easy to clean.

Improvements in the NP-HBC18

The NP-HBC18 has retained the great features of the NS-ZCC18 but the most important difference in the NP-HBC18 is that it is an Integrated Heating cooker while the NS-ZCC18 is a MICOM cooker.  The HBC18 makes superior quality rice due to the better distribution of heat and the quicker response time. The NP-HBC18 also has an additional GABA rice setting which health conscious buyers will find useful.

How to Cook with a Zojirushi

Cooking with the Zojirushi cookers is easy. First measure the rice and level off using a chopstick. Then wash with cold water before putting the rice in the pan and adding water for cooking. Marks inside the pan will signal how much water you got to pour for every cup. Shut the lid and find the setting that you want and push start. When the rice is cooked open the rice spatula to fluff and serve the rice.
