What's the Difference Between NS-ZCC10 and NP-HBC10?

Features of the NS-ZCC10

The Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 is a MICOM Cooker and features advanced Fuzzy Logic technology, which adjusts temperature and cooking time as detected by the computer chip inside. It makes 10 cups of rice and cooks white and mixed rice, porridge, sweet, semi-brown and brown rice. It also has a rinse free and quick cooking feature. The cooker has a thick black spherical pan with a stay cool safety handle along with a melody timer or beep to inform you when cooking is complete.

Improvements in the NP-HBC10

The NP-HBC10 has retained the excellent characteristics of the NS-ZCC10 but the most important difference in the NP-HBC10 is that it is an Integrated Heating cooker compared to the NS-ZCC10 which is a MICOM cooker.

This quality means that it can regulate the heat better and has superior control over the output. Integrated Heating cookers will always give a better output with higher quality rice than MICOM cookers, though MICOM cookers also produce high quality rice.  The NP-HBC10 also has an additional GABA rice setting.

How to Cook Rice with a Zojirushi

Cooking rice with the Zojirushi rice cookers involves very easy steps. First measure the rice and level off using a chopstick. Then wash with cold water before putting the rice in the pan and adding water for cooking. Marks inside the pan will signal how much water you got to pour for every cup. Shut the lid and find the setting that you want and push start. When the rice is cooked open the rice spatula to fluff and serve the rice.

Conclusion: Which Model is Best - Should I Buy a NS-ZCC10 or NS-TGC10?
