Feline Cerebellar hypoplasia is a disorder found in cats where their cerebellum has not completely matured by the time they are born.

Typically the symptoms are noticeably immediately after being born however it is not uncommon for symptoms to show up nearly two months after birth.

The disorder will not improve over the life span of the cat, however aside from being poorly coordinated, the animal will live a perfectly healthy life with a normal life expectancy. There is no need to put a cat down if they have Cerebellar Hypoplasia as they will be totally capable of living a happy and fulfilling life.
