Chomping at the bit waiting for the open beta of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn? Of course you are, since the character you level on the open beta gets carried over when the game goes live, it is essentially a huge head start. With any sort of head start, you don't want to squander it on the specifics like say, understanding how the class and job system works. There is quite a large bit of confusion about it. However, since the game is still under a Non-Disclosure Agreement not everything can be discussed. However, there are some public details and the experiences players have had with the previous MMOs that can help debunk the whole class and job system.
Unlike its brother gathering professions, fishing is significantly more complicated. There is a fishing log, but unlike the gathering log it does not give specific locations on where to find the nodes. In fact, there are no nodes at all. You just have to toss your line out there, but there are particular locations all around Eorzea that one has to discover. Unlike mining or botany (at least until level 50), there are some circumstances that effect what can be caught and when. This makes fishing kind of the biggest pain in the butt out of everything else in the game, however this is kind of a good thing. People, unless very bored, don't want to put the effort into leveling fishing, so those that do are rolling in the money at higher levels.
Mining is one of the gathering classes in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Mining and it's other gathering classes are all helpfully lumped up in the Disciples of the Land. The class guild for it is based out of the city Ul'Dah, it can only be found there. Unsurprisingly, the resource a miner gathers is ore which can be used for Blacksmithing, Armorer and Goldsmith classes to make gear. This class also generates secondary resources that are used by almost all other classes, making it worthwhile to level if you want to make some money.
Botany is one of the gathering classes in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Botany and it's other gathering classes are all helpfully lumped up in the Disciples of the Land. The class guild for it is based out of the city Gridania, it can only be found there. Surprising, while you would imagine Botanists gather all manner of herbs, it is mostly just logging. Botanists gather wood for the Carpenter class. However, wood is also used as a component in recipes for Leatherworkers, Tailors, Armorers and Blacksmithes. This class also generates secondary resources that are used by almost all other classes, making it worthwhile to level if you want to make some money.
For many players is may still be too early for them to have reached the max level cap of 30, but with players topping out at max level as early as 15 hours after launch, a whole new world of end game has opened up, or rather at least the end game that isn't comping next month. Players may be a little lost at first, mostly because there isn't too much to do aside from Dark Zone exploration, but one of the primary activities that a max level player should be doing is their daily missions. These missions not only reward some high quality loot, but they are also one of the best ways to grind out the end game currency of The Division
While the graphics, combat system, and PvP in Blade & Soul are the real stars of the show, crafting and gathering is still a necessity.
Clouds are collective masses of either water droplets or crystals of ice. Clouds are a near ever present companion to the sky lines, sometimes molding themselves into abstract shapes or amassing in a great mass of gray and black warning of storms. Due to the many different shapes and sizes of clouds they have be classified into a variety of different types of clouds.
If you are serious about making gold on World of Warcraft then it is important that you pick the right professions and the right times to take advantage of people. By doing this it is extremely simple to have more gold than you know what to do with.
With all the other MMO's that have been released in the past year or two that had been advertised as 'WoW Killers' or 'World of Warcraft Killers', Guild Wars 2 at least had enough grace not to advertise itself as one. However, unlike Star Wars: The Old Republic, Aion, or Rift; Guild Wars 2 would have had a really decent chance.
So you think you got the stuff to be a dragon slayer in Dragon Age: Inquisition, eh? Well, this isn't Skyrim where dragons are plentiful and are mere nuisances at higher levels. There are ten dragons in Dragon Age: Inquisition and each of them provide a unique challenge that should be prepared for beforehand and many of them can't just be steam-rolled over by gear or level. Some dragons are easy to find, some are trickier, but this guide will highlight where to find the high dragons in Dragon Age: Inquisition and how to beat them.
If you find yourself bored in the World of Warcraft, a common hobby if to try and farm some rare mounts. With the recent Mists of Pandaria patch that makes mounts span across all your characters, they have only made it easier.
Dead Island: Riptide is the sequel to the 2011 co-op zombie slaughter fest that was the original Dead Island. I use the term "sequel" very loosely here. Dead Island: Riptide is more of a continuation than a real sequel. The gameplay and mechanics are so entirely similar to the original Dead Island that if you liked the first game you will like its sequel. However, if you are looking for changes from the original, or even looking for them to fix the problems that the original had, you will be disappointed.
The gaming community has gotten surly in recent years, claiming that gaming has become marketed towards a more casual community leaving the hardcore sect out in the cold when it comes to game difficulty. This marketing, in turn, has made modern games easier that hand out rewards for every little stupid thing. In order to market to the lucrative casual market, it is claimed that developers neuter the challenge that more dexterous gamers felt so proud upon completing in order to reach a broader audience. These complaints, as well as the popularity of games like Demon Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 have led to a bit of a revolution among game developers. Many developers have embraced the challenge of creating challenging games targeted specifically for hardcore gamers, the kind that result in thousands of virtual deaths, broken controllers and kicked puppies. So after the hundreds of creative deaths brought on by the recent release of Dark Souls 2, here are some games to quench the thirst for a decent challenge.
One of the most unique additions that come to Final Fantasy XIV: Realm Reborn in their first expansion Heavensward is the ability for your Free Company to craft airships. These airships function much like the venture features that players can send their retainers out to do. You build your airship, you send it out, it brings stuff back. It's that simple. However, as with any new expansion, there is little information on how to actually craft the initial airship, much less how to upgrade it. For those who aren't tempted to build an airship as it stands now, in future patches to the expansion, Free Companies will be able to ride it to enter otherwise inaccessible areas in the game. Why not build it now and get a head start on discovering the new places you will go in the future?
Final Fantasy XIV was a Final Fantasy based MMO by Square Enix that released in 2010. However, upon its launch, it had several major problems that made it unplayable for most people and causing it to be the worst disaster in Final Fantasy history. Square Enix realized that major changes needed to be made, so they ended what is now referred to as Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 in November 2012, by dropping a giant Bahamat filled moon on the world. Now in August 2013, Final Fantasy XIV is back anew in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Upon starting Dark Souls 2, players will notice one of the biggest changes from Dark Souls, maybe not right away, but eventually. In Dark Souls 2, the enemies vanish after being killed a set number of times (about 15 times thereabouts) which can make soul farming a bit problematic. However, don't despair, with the help of a particular item and some equipment not only will the enemies respawn but players will get more souls from them. It makes soul farming a breeze. Kind of. This is Dark Souls 2 after all, so nothing is ever easy. There are options for every kind of farmer, from those willing to embrace the challenge and for those that want to get some relatively easy souls without stressing about dying.
The time for Elder Scrolls Online's official launch is fast approaching. Now that the Non-Disclosure Agreement is lifted the opinions are coming out in a mixed bag. Regardless, there are a lot of good things in Elder Scrolls Online that people should do and a lot of bad things that should be avoided.
Taking its cue from the much beloved other games in the series, Just Cause 3, yet again, features a massive open world filled with pretty trees to stare at, oblivious enemies to dance the dance of death with, and so many different object to blow up for no reason. Unfortunately, Avalanche Studio's has never quite done the whole open world scene very gracefully. However, while players on the console will just have to deal with all the graphical niggles, for those on the PC, there are a number of different options to turn off and tweak to improve performance. This is a guide that details what can be turned off to improve performance and frame rate as well as how it affects how Just Cause 3 looks overall.
For anyone that has tried to pop into Dark Zone 6 or maybe a quick challenge mode after hitting a fresh max level, than you will know the humbling feeling that is The Division's gear check.
There are literally thousands of different supplements that you can take that are supposed to help facilitate weight loss. Some are complete lies, while others actually do aid in some way. Konjac fiber is one of those aids that do work. If you are looking for a miracle pill that will help you lose weight while you sit around eating cheese puffs, this is not for you and you'll be waiting a long time for that pill. However, with a healthier diet and at least some kind of regular exercise konjac fiber can help prevent over eating and aid in losing extra pounds.
