It was less than 25 days ago when we broke into the top 50,000 web sites on the internet according to Alexa. Since then, Infobarrel.com has jumped another 12,000 places in the Alexa charts and is now the 38,779th biggest web site in the world.

This means we are getting progressively more traffic each and every month.  Hopefully we will break through into the 20,000′s before the end of May!

As of today InfoBarrel.com has officially cracked the 50K barrier according to Alexa.com

This places Infobarrel.com in the top 50,000 web sites on the entire Internet. Considering Alexa tracks the top 25 million (might be more) web sites, this is a pretty big deal.

If you have not checked our contest section lately, take a look for our latest contest: April’s Biggest Poster Contest.

Basically, the top three posters on Infobarrel over the course of April will receive a greater percentage of the Google Adsense impressions on their content during the month of May.

First place will receive 93% for the entire month of May

Second place will receive 90% for the entire month of May

Third place will receive 85% for the entire month of May

If this contest works out well we are planning on doing something similar to this on an ongoing basis.

The contest will be based on points; articles 250 words or more will get 1 point and articles over 500 words will receive 2 points.
