Additions to My Content Page

August 10, 2009 by admin

Hey all,

We’ve made some additions to your My Content page.

We’ve added a new tab called “Pending Articles”.  Under this tab are your articles that are currently in the queue awaiting approval.  We’ve had a few emails over the last couple of weeks from users wondering where their articles went after they hit the Publish button.  Now you they will be able to see them under the aforementioned “Pending Articles” tab.

Also by popular demand, we have added a [reason for denial] button under your “Denied Articles” tab.  If you click the button you can see the reason your article was denied, allowing you to make the changes necessary to your article so you can submit it again.  This feature will only work going forward.  None of the past denied articles will have a reason attached because we we’re storing that data before today.

Hope everyone likes the new additions.

Kevin

Strange, but when I click on my content, I don’t see my pending articles.

I’m not sure where to put this question and this one mentions denied articles so I thought I’d try here.

I’ve been trying to edit an article but it is being denied for lack of spacing between paragraphs. I cannot seem to get the spacing to stick when I publish or save as draft.

I’ve tried just putting in a space, I’ve tried putting in 2 spaces, I’ve tried messing with the html, and I’ve tried removing all word html to see if my word processing progam is the problem but it keeps stripping my spacing out.

I cannot send an email to my “manager” because the email I get uses a noreply email address.

Any ideas on how to get an article to accept a space between paragraphs?

    Thanks,

    Mary

    Hey Mary,

It sounds like you are trying to copy the article from MS Word and paste it into our editor. Online editors have issues with some of the markup language used by Word. Try copying your article into Notepad, then from Notepad into InfoBarrel’s editor. This should fix your problem,
