Testing Chitika ads
We’ve got some great news here at Infobarrel.com
We are going to be expanding the ways that authors can make money here on Infobarrel in the very near future. In the coming days you may notice Chitika ads on your content.
Don’t worry, we are just testing it out. Provided the ads are capable of earning some money, you will soon be able to add Chitika to your Infobarrel profile and earn 75% of the revenue generated by the ads! This means more money for our writers!
What else is nice about Chitika, is they can pay by Paypal or check. As long as you make at least $10, you will get a check every single month!
If you want to signup for Chitika now, and have your account ready for when we launch, you can sign up using this link.

I was really upset when I saw it on my articles because I did not know you planned to share revenue. In fact, you probably got an email from me. Can we opt out of this? I have used Chitika in the past with niche blogs and don’t like the pay per click as it is MUCH lower than I got from Adsense.

I suspect Chitika would work well with electronic goods reviews.

I signed up and was approved, but am confused about how to add it to my account here. It looks like it doesn’t fit every article, but I’m just not sure how to know when it’s working. Help?

Oops, I saw that it was on one of my articles. Thanks!

Hey Jaron,
We aren’t 100% sure we are going to even wind up using them at this point. We are still testing the waters. After placing them at the bottom of the site, we noticed the CTR for that ad block was much higher than we originally anticipated, so we moved an Adsense block there to see if performs better. We will only add the Chitika ads in permanently if the numbers make sense and they actually increase the overall revenue of the company and our writers.
We’re uncertain if we will allow people to opt out of them or not yet, but as I mentioned above, we are testing them out to make sure they don’t affect our Google CTRs
