What's wrong with this title?
I'm trying to get an article published titled "Why you should go to Hungary for your next vacation" but it's getting denied because, according to the denial mail form Infobarrell: "Article has been denied because of grammar, spelling or formatting issues in title. Ensure your title is properly capitalized. ---"
Could someone tell me what is wrong with the above title?
I believe you are supposed to follow AP style for titles. The stylebook requires that any noun, verb, adjective, or adverb plus any conjunction or preposition more than three letters long be capitalized.
Why You Should Go to Hungary for Your Next Vacation
I usually run my titles by titlecase.org or a similar tool to get the proper capitalisation, hope it helps :)
2labz nailed what was wrong with it.
Aah, that must have been it then. I've been staring at that simply line for multiple minutes trying to to find the grammar or spelling error, but it must have been the capitalization then. A dumb newbie mistake :p Thanks for your help! :)
Glad to be of help.
Favorite cousin and his wife are coming back from eastern Europe even as we speak - got a postcard from Prague yesterday, and one from Budapest a couple of days ago...
Wow, i just submitted my very first article and i'm quite sure it will be kicked back due to this. Great thread/
You can go to your Pending Articles and change the title right away, then submit the article for publication. This way, you can save a day's time.
The rejection message says "Article has been denied because of grammar, spelling or formatting issues in title. Ensure your title is properly capitalized."
Is that website still up and does it still work? I copy and pasted it and hit enter. It's not loading or it's taking forever. :/
