Hi tareklaw,

What reason does the InfoBarrel proofreading team give when they reject the article you are writing?

Dear tareklaw,

If your post is any indication of the work you've submitted, you will have a difficult time getting your articles posted - at least here on InfoBarrel.

I don't want to come across as unsupportive, but I don't believe in "stringing people along" either.

You need to have a good command of the English language. It's one thing to speak English well and quite another to write it well. I've lived in Canada all my life and some of my work was denied publication for "using English awkwardly." I don't know why your work has been rejected, I'm just taking a guess based on your post here.

You would probably be best served by seeking the help of an English tutor and/or enrolling in some English writing classes. Unfortunately, you cannot post your work in the forum here (to get help with it) since you will trigger the duplicate content filters (and it will again be "denied" publication).

There might be some people willing to help you out (I'm sure they will chime in). But please be aware, that many people are struggling online and cannot devote large chunks of time to helping new people learn how to write English.

I wish you well in whatever you decide to do.

Hi Tareklaw,

I'm not a grammar expert but my articles do get published. I'll happily look over one of your denied articles for you.

When  you write an article, always double check your pronunciation, spelling and grammar carefully before submitting. Example from your post "Is there any tips?"  - singular "is" with a plural noun "are."

Oops! See how easy it is to make a mistake.  I meant "punctuation" not "pronunciation", but I caught my mistake when I re-read my post!

Hi Tareklaw,

Please read this article, if you have not read it yet - http://www.infobarrel.com/A_Newbies_Guide_to_Publishing_on_InfoBarrel

I am also a newbie, waiting for my first article to get published. This article helped me a lot in avoiding basic mistakes and adhering to IB standards.

Hello Tareklaw,

As other people said here, I can agree with them. It`s best to check your grammar.

Good luck,

The best advice that I can give is to take your time in both writing and proof reading your articles.  I am by no means an expert, because I have had my share of articles being denied too, but just give yourself time.  Don't be in a hurry to get an article done.  I hopr this helps and good luck.

Hello Guys. Who can have a look at my denied article? It doesn't get published because of Grammar issues...I can' t find any, went through many online proof readers...nothing.

Is it paragraphing? Word order? Capitalization of headers? Do you have a good introduction and conclusion? You can't always trust online proof readers. You should ask a human being to look at it for you.
