Article got denied because of title capitalization
Article has been denied because of grammar, spelling or formatting issues in title. Ensure your title is properly capitalized.
This was the title of my article "How to Setup Your First Blog"
I even used titlecase.org and another title checker website and they both showed the same title formatting as mines.
I agree that it seems OK.
It's a grammar issue.
RE: Setup is one word when it is a noun (e.g., “it was a setup!”) or an adjective (e.g., “follow the setup instructions”).
It is two words — set up — when it functions as a verb (e.g., “I'm going to set up the computer”). Some writers and publishes use set-up, with a hyphen, instead of setup.
Personally, I tend to go with the Oxford dictionary. I would change it to:
How to Set-Up Your First Blog
On second thought, use two words . . it's considered the proper form for verbs. My bad, sorry.
USE: How to Set up Your First Blog
Ran into a similar problem with my Legend of Dragoon article. I thought I was typing things properly but found out I wasn't. Capitalizing titles properly isn't as simple as I once thought.
I sent in my first article for review, and it got denied due to the word count. I have checked my count several times and it's over 600 words, well over the minimum amount they desire. I have now sent 4 requests for a response on this, and have received nothing. Is there a phone number I can call? Can anyone assist me here?
