HiI wroye a few articles here several years ago and was thinking of coming back.  I've been reading the posts here on the forum and am wondering if it's worth coming back.  Everyone seems to be anticipating doom.  Any advice?

Hard to say. Earnings don't seem to be what they used to be, but I think that is true for a lot of internet writing sites. As you can see, the site is still up and running although it's on autopilot most of the time. I am still earning a bit. I'm not getting rich but my IB portfolio has helped me to get other writing work.

Honestly, I wouldn't advise it - and I'm currently one of the most active writers. There are problems with earnings - some are too low after a problem which may never have been fixed - and some, such as Tier 2 and competition winnings are entirely missing for September and October. September's should have been paid out, yet they haven't been added, eight weeks after the end of the month. Updates and fixes, some of them quite serious, keep being promised, but nothing is heard on them. The site isn't simply on autopilot; it's being completely neglected.

What s/he said. Big, glorious changes were promised many months ago, yet nothing has transpired. In the meantime, views and revenue have dropped off what were already rather low.

FWIW, the model of "post at a content farm and get rich" is dead as a doornail, anyway. Just look at all the sites that disappeared post-Panda, and note the few feeble attempts to resurrect the model that have crashed and burned in the last few months -- PersonaPaper, EliteVisitors, Bubblews, even Examiner... need I say more?
