LPerry - Please let us know if they do pay you.  If not, there really isn't anything left here for the rest of us.

I just checked my account and my $50.81 is still unpaid. It should have transferred out automatically 5 or 6 days ago.

I'm gonna guess anyone with money on the table isn't going to get paid.

I think you are right Vic. It doesn't look too promising.

Bumping this, as right now this thread and the other related one  (keeping in touch) are the only two of relevance at the moment, and they both need to stay at the top of the page over anything else.

I haven't given up hope on the payment so far. It's only a few days overdue and that happened during a holiday weekend and it's been three weeks overdue in the past, so I'm hoping they still pay out the (hopelessly inaccurate) earnings.

My earnings dropped like a rock too, although I still see Amazon commissions, but if I can't go in an update any of the modules, this won't be for long either.  It depends if payments are automated of if admin has to actually be involved I guess.

My articles, even some of the older ones, are still getting views and likes. Even though we are locked out of the site and admin doesn't do any maintenance the content will remain live and Hinzie Media will continue to earn residual income, so the ethical  thing would be to continue sending out payments.

Agreed. I won't waste time asking them to delete my material I'll just wait until the site closes, de-ibdexibg is over, and move them then.

Hinzie Media is no more, it's My Passion Media now. Though I checked their corporate site and do find it even just a little encouraging that Infobarrel is still part of their acknowledged properties. If they update that, then you know things are truly over.

" The company currently offers a media mix of multiple brands including 9 magazines, 14 online publications, 4 YouTube channels, 3 national events and Influencer.org, a global blogger platform. With over 15 million readers annually......."

If our Admin is now Editor in Chief of all that, no wonder there is no time for Infobarrel. They have joined a team of people focused on other things. Here is the team page.

Sorry about that, I got Kevin mixed up with Ryan.

I went back to the thread he started and the last time Admin was here was January 18th. It's been 3 months ! I didn't realize it's been that long.

"Busy" is not an excuse to let one of your business interests remain stagnant and to not at least address it's concerns. I'm guessing the others involved are more interested in their other projects. The site will be shut down, I think.

Burnt toast, fo' shizzle!

They are linking to Infobarrel as one of their "online magazine" publications when the only thing we can publish here are forum posts. Incredible.

I agree Vic, it's definitely no excuse. We are humans and we would understand if they need to work another job to make a living. Just let us know. We deserve that much. It isn't fair to keep waiting and waiting and waiting.

There are so many glitches on this site right now, it would take full-time attendance and constant communication to get it all working again.

Maybe we should start writing our articles in the forum LOL

I actually thought about doing that just to do it! This is the only working function of the site, after all.

After I made the earlier post on page 3 or something, I went to work backing up my articles. The information can be transferred to my blogs; mainly the games and paying for school ones. I do a little bit of everything so I'm difficult to track unless I get visits to my blog or my deviantART page.

Still adore the Dark Parlor pic Vic; hope you submit more provided no more site changes occur.

If you look at the portfolio of MyPassionMedia properties you can see that InfoBarrel is truly the red-headed stepchild that Vic described it as last year. All the other properties are about subjects such as Canada, the outdoors and travel, and combinations of these. IB, well, it isn't.

For all the good it may have done, I left a message on their 1-888 number (they dont answer it) and sent an email to mypassionmedia.  Probably just delete it but felt it was worth a try.

Thanks, Sookie. Although I wasn't holding my breath, I am still disappointed that I didn't get a reply to the FB message I sent Ryan.
