I agree mommymommymommy ... If anyone want to stay in touch with me and get free retirement information, too, you can all find me at:

http://www.baby-boomer-retirement.com

Or follow me on Twitter at:  https://twitter.com/DeborahDian

Or on my Facebook Author page at:  https://www.facebook.com/deborahdian.author/?ref=bookmarks

If you follow me at one of these sites, be sure to let me know you are from Infobarrel and I will follow back on your sites.  I met a lot of nice friends on Infobarrel, and I would like to keep them!  It is sad to see what has happened here.

Thanks, we need to maintain the family feeling. It is not about the money - just that writhing into the blue yonder can be very lonely. I will follow your links. I couldn't paste in mine but our website and FB is www.naturefresh.co.za

I am still writing here, mostly finishing off draft articles that I have had on the back burner for a while, and earning a few cents.

Besides, I really do like to keep in touch with the rest of you now and then.

I guess we can keep the forum alive by sharing our other online endeavors and supporting each other like the old days.

I love that idea - We can take over the forum - Take it back from the spammers

Love it

I used to love it here, but like everyone else I gave up. I have not earned a cent since oct 2017.  I still come and have a look but gave up writing on my daughters site too.  Eileen

I will continue to write articles.I love my online collection - part of me to the extent I share articles with people who need advice from our website and the Facebook extension. I don't get paid, but am honoured to share this space with people like you. Don't give up!

I spend more time travelling these days, although at the moment we are renovating a bus. (12 month project slow process) maybe one day soon we will get away again.cheers

Remember  your article on how to propagate veggies? I planted my discarded beetroot tops. I now have lots of leaves, also leeks.Handy for soups and stir fries. Not sure about the piece of potato, but it has a few leaves!

Beware doing this with potato - You can introduce potato blight to your soil that can stay there for 3 years. I lost a potato crop because I used peelings in the compost I used

I have never had any problems with my potatoes like that just dug up another crop last week. I also grow celery, leeks, bok choy and many other similar ones from the base of vegies.  Just fertilise and keep the pests down.

Yindee ... I just followed your website on Facebook.  I think we all need to reach out to each other beyond Infobarrel.

HLesley, SharOn and Philtrate - I agree that we could take over the forum and give each other support outside of Infobarrel.

Absolutely, Deb Di.

I would like to know what you are doing outside of IB.

And in the meantime content websites continue to die slow deaths. Even my on line teaching is not as profitable as it used to be. My monthly revenue has dropped from somewhere between $500 and $800 a month to less than $200. My search for other computer based revenue continues. I have been getting some content writing through Upwork and am doing proofreading for a private client.

Very positive response.

Looks like I missed the golden days of InfoBarrel. Was hoping to learn a lot from the people here that have found success.  I have been developing my brand but it seems there is still a lot to learn. I would love to get some feedback from anyone that is willing to provide and maybe even collab.

All feedback is welcome.

Thank you

It has been a while, but I updated my article Can You Still Make Money Online in 2015 with a few new sections for 2018. The answer is yes, but it is not like it used to be.

Quick Feedback - Phil@PTurnerWriter.com - I do copywriting nowadays -

Please don't take offence - I'm blunt here

Something's wrong with the form at the bottom of Home Page.

Looks good - I like that your home page is benefits-focused. However, you need to carry that through to your About Page:

Focus it on the questions/problems you know users have - THEN talk about how you can use your knowledge to help them. That way you will engage emotionally much more.

Your THE SHOP link to Amazon is less than impressive. You lose readers for the sake of a 4% commission of a few low cost items.

I dislike the FINANCIAL AWARENESS page which looks like a blog, but with ALLIN CAPS headlines that make me immediately want to go somewhere else VERY quickly.
