What does it take to get articles deleted?

Hi; I've e-mailed admin three times now to ask them to delete three of my articles, but they have not done so. Can't understand why we can't simply delete our own articles. Has anyone else had this problem? What does it take to simply get them to delete articles? Thanks.

A class action lawsuit would probably work, seeing as there seems to be so many of you wanting content deleted.

Don't really understand why they don't just pull the plug on this place..... its not getting much traffic now, probably less than 2000 uniques per day based on alexa rank. Its dead.

Well thanks for replying anyway. Don't know why they won't take the articles off when you ask. And yes, nothing ranks on here, so no Google traffic. Think it's the same for most article writing sites now.

I've tried to get a response from them all of last year to delete mine -- and nothing. Even tried the Facebook page and found that some of the Admin folks are no longer at IB. Have no clue as to who is running the show or how to get their attention. I only keep checking back in hopes that IB has finally dug itself out of its hole and we can all get back to publishing and earning a little cash. Good Luck.

Thanks Lebenlernen. I've given up on them now, and have just re-written the three articles I wanted deleted. It's taken a lot more time, but can't be helped.

Ya the site is sadly dead.  It evidently is not earning for anyone.

Yes, it is very sad because it is still viable. I make regular Amazon sales, as do a few other writers. It is not necessary to let the spammers take over the forum when all that is needed is a once or twice a week check-in to have spam deleted.

Just another thread brought to the top to get rid of the spam.

I've contacted Admin 3 times in the past week with no response.  If the site is dead why don't they just release our content by allowing us to delete and publish where it counts. They must not be making anything off of it so why keep it?

So, if I delete my account will my articles be deleted?  Admin still doesn't respond.

How do I get my account deleted?  I can't find a way to do this. (I'm guessing I have to contact Admin...same way I can supposedly get my articles deleted)

Contact the admins via their Facebook accounts since they check them daily.

A long time ago, we used to be able to delete articles by reverting them back to draft status, then deleting them from draft mode. I have no idea if this function still works.

Try contacting Ryan McKenzie or Kevin Hinton through Facebook

@LPerry Unfortunately that method isn't working. Tried to delete articles that were in draft and nothing. It's like when they updated the site so vital features were disabled. I would love it if we had the ability to delete our articles when we want instead of going through admin all the time especially since they are difficult to get a hold of.

I have also tried to delete old draft articles that I would like to discard and nothing happens.

What I worry about is whether the trash can icons are disabled on purpose to keep content on the site for some future transfer of ownership. The only thing I can think of is to revert back to draft, copy your words, save/ move them, then delete the contents leaving only the title in draft.
