Tracking article views and reads
OK. I'm super ticked off now. After I messaged Ryan our earnings for the last 4 months were finally updated and the spam tracker now seems to be working to flag and delete spam. However, ever since I have had absolutely no visitors to any of my articles recorded (call me anal retentive but I actually have a list of my articles and regularly check and update the number of views they get, which is slow but steady). This is quite bizarre. I know people have been reading my stuff because I have been getting likes on Google + and Quora. But absolutely no views recorded for 2 weeks! Really? Something is definitely off. Has anyone else noticed this?
I noticed the views were not moving, but I am still making Amazon sales from here, so I am assuming the tracking is not working, but the articles are still being seen and read.. not sure
Earnings? Heck, I haven't seen earnings in two-plus years. According to the earnings page I haven't had any of their so-called "tier one" earnings since the day it was enabled, and I can't turn it off by myself. If the administrators would ever respond to contact, I'd tell them what they could do with their site!
This is starting to become worrisome at best. Hope it gets sorted out soon.
I get sales from here as well, so someone is looking. I do not even bother checking stats as they have not been right in years.
So what is the secret to getting Amazon sales? I have made two sales in two years and made about 10 cents!
Sorry-just seeing this now.
My IB sales are much less frequent now, and it is interesting what people buy. It is not what I am promoting.
Your items should be relevant to what your article is about. First, you have to get people to your article. I looked at your titles and your article on Darts looked like one that could promote dart boards. I had to look hard for the products, since they were buried below a photo. What I would do is remove the two Amazon modules and replace them with your own two Amazon image links (use their HTML code and enlarge the picture). Put one midway through the article and another a bit lower. Use your own words to describe the item.
Also create an image to pin with your articles title. Do you have a Pinboard about darts? I use Canva and use Pixabay or Canva's free images to create one and place it at the top of the article.
I hope this helps!
Page views for my articles are currently frozen.
I Facebooked Ryan and Kevin again last week. Ryan apologized and said he would ask Kevin about it (since he's the techie) but again, nothing is moving. I am also at a loss about what to do with my FB articles. I could leave them up and hope that the earnings get upidated eventually or take them down, guaranteeing that I earn nothing. Also it would mean trying to sell my articles elsewhere....
Well, my article pageviews are still frozen. Is it just my pageviews that are frozen, or is the same the rest of you?
It's probably the same for everybody. Kevin is supposed to be in charge of FB and is not replying to my messages.
