Use vitamins that reduce stress. Vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 can all help you reduce stress. In order for you to get the full benefit of these vitamins, you need to eat them with foods or switch to foods that naturally have these vitamins in them.

Step 2

Switch to water. If you drink coffee or soda, it is advised that you switch to water. When you are not fully hydrated, it can have an effect on your mood and stress level. It can cause headaches and other side effects. The best part about water is its effect on your blood pressure, just by switching to water you can significantly reduce blood pressure, improve energy levels, flush out toxins and sleep better.

Do yoga or a light cardio. Doing yoga can help improve your stress levels. You will not only be lowering your blood pressure and improving heart health, but you will also be reducing stress. However, if you don't like yoga, you can do a light aerobic exercise for 10-20 minutes each day.

Step 4

Drink herbal tea and take key herbs. Herbal tea is famous for its stress relieving properties, but it can also help your heart health. Also, you should add key herbs to your tea to improve heart health. Herbs like, Ginkgo Bilboa, Coenzyme Q10, bilberry, Hawthorn and Garlic can all help to reduce blood pressure.

Take long walks and hot baths. Walking can drastically improve your heart health and reduce stress at the same time. The great thing about walking is, it doesn't stress your body out and it gives you a chance to work a multitude of muscles. Walking improves posture and improves your lungs, which has an effect on the stress level of your heart. Taking a hot bath after walking will be even more of a stress reliever.

Step 6

Eat the right foods and void the wrong ones. Whole grains, dairy, produce and fish are all foods you could eat. All these foods will help your heart health. You should avoid foods that have anything with a lot of sodium, sugar, high carbohydrates or bad fat.
