Emailing people without their consent is very SPAM-like.
  • Make sure that there is an easy way for people to unsubscribe from your emails if they want to. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you are losing their business, and people have a right to control what ends up in their inbox. If you don’t make it easy for people to unsubscribe, they may become irritated and report you as SPAM, even if you aren’t, in essence.
  • Be sure to design your emails in such a way that all the graphics and links work well and properly! There is nothing that makes your emails look more like SPAM than a shoddy layout.

Make sure that you do the proper things to ensure that you are not coming across as SPAM to the rest of the world.
