the Many Tools of Professionals

By Edited Oct 15, 2016 0 0

Every profession is not without its own unique, and specialized, instruments. For a practicing medical professional, these valuable tools may very well serve to bridge the gap between the known and the unknown, as far as essential data collection on countless patient assignments. Any revelation of new knowledge, through patient assessments, may most certainly, go as far as effectively treating an illness or saving a life that may unfortunately be deteriorating at a highly progressive pace. It is typically at the times where we need these tools the most, when we clearly appreciate them the most, and rely on them to help us be more proficient in our respective professions.

Beyond the vital sign and assessment essentials, that are commonplace instruments in the medical profession, other professions may place just as much, if not more, value into their own trade-specific tools. While a human life may not be on the line within the confines of a mechanic's garage, the functionality of a simple wrench could be just as important as a thermometer, or a stethoscope, is to a seasoned medical professional. In fact, it is at the times when things don't go wrong that people typically find the most value for mechanics. The avoidance of a fatal crash, due to mechanical difficulties, is the true test of a mechanic's skillful mastery of their own profession.

A firefighter's axe, and massive serpentine like hose, could be the very pivotal tools required, at the most critical of times that call for immediate, and skilled, action to be taken. They may ultimately help to save a young child's life as their house is engulfed in relentless and unforgiving flames. It is in times like these where the truest testimony of a hero can be found in the instruments that they have mastered in order to benefit themselves and, of course, the very people that they have been trained extensively to serve in their particular communities.

To a soldier, preparing for combat, the tools used can be really quite extensive. With modern functionality and technology, even the typical military combat uniform may now come with an integrated tourniquet system that can help to significantly reduce blood loss: a capability that may ultimately lead to life preservation and successful mission accomplishment and completion. Finding such valuable tools, even within combat military uniforms, may not be something that is immediately thought of by the casual layperson, especially when service professionals are surrounded by elaborate, and high-tech, weaponry and weapon's systems. From complex aiming systems, to night vision goggles, these tools of a soldier may be as a valuable, if not more valuable, than a medical professional's stethoscope, a mechanic's wrench, or a construction worker's hammer.

Clearly, behind every professional are the tools and instruments that are needed in order to be successful. Years of practice, and research, have gone into developing these tools into being the most effective that they can be. Not only are they effective, but, in terms of measuring, trial and error has also given way to precision. These attributes help them serve populations in the best way possible. Whether it be a soldier who is serving their country, in the safeguarding and preservation of freedom, or an entertainer who is fine-tuning their guitar with an electronic tuner, without these tools, they would not be quite as effective, and efficient, as they would be if they were to conquer their respective professions alone.
