Choosing wedding stationery for the big day can be a very daunting process. There are so many different options out there, so many websites to wade through! Very often brides and grooms want to get their wedding stationery posted out to their guests early to ensure that the date can be booked into busy calendars, often before the colour theme or style of the wedding has been finalised. Wedding stationery is the first the first glance at a wedding that the guests have, and we all know how important first impressions can be.
A great idea is to pick wedding stationery that matches the season of the wedding. That way even if it doesn't completely match your colour scheme it will perfectly fit the colours and ambiance all around. Beautiful colour schemes can be made of all seasons. Bold and bright summer colours, fresh and friendly spring tones, warm autumn shades and classical cool winter tints.
Summer - This is a great time of year to get married, indoors or even outdoors. Its a perfect time to take advantage of the lovely summer weather and all of the beautiful colours that go with it. Go bold and bright, or more subtle with pretty pastels, whichever way, there are just so many colours to choose from.
Spring - This is my favourite season. Flowers finally appearing after the cold winter, the sun becoming warmer, new beginnings, a wonderful time for a wedding. In my opinion, its pastel colours all the way for a spring wedding. Lavenders, soft greens, lemons and pretty pinks, they all make for the most scrumptious colour scheme and bridesmaid dresses.
Autumn - One of the colourful seasons of all. There is such an abundance of vibrant colours at this time of year, browns, russets, yellows and coppers. Breathtaking sunsets make this season a lovely time of year for a wedding.
Winter - This can be a very romantic time of year for a wedding, we can all wish for snow at a winter wedding! Reds and greens are very traditional, but colours can also include silver and frosty blue. A great time of year to get family and get friends together for a wonderful celebration.
